Bad choice!

Wanted a counter-depth appliance with side-by-side design but this refrigerator is VERY loud with a high-pitched fan noise. Stays on 98% of the time. When the water fills it is so loud it sounds like a hose has been turned on. Already had a service call due to freezer not working properly. I am very disappointed with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes, ceinca! I am sorry that you have had trouble with your refrigerator. Our records indicate the technician did not find anything issues when he went out to inspect the freezer. Please review the normal operating sounds on page 29 of the following manual:

Noisy.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
