Breaking after 3.5 years

At first this thing's was perfect. Then the lights on the panel started going out 2 years in and we had to keep resetting the ice maker because it would run out of ice. Now (3.5) years in and the ice maker won't stop making ice and we have to manually turn it off so it won't overflow. Lights are still broken. Pretty disappointed that we are considering getting a new fridge not even 4 years after our purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge as we liked the narrow size that fits great with our counters. Bought 17 months ago. It has always been on the noisy side. Ice maker seems to jam at the dispenser quite often, but now it sounds possessed. Thankfully bought the extended warranty. Why must consumers have to buy extended warranty on all appliances these days? Life span of major appliances these days is tragic.

Absolutely horrible very upset

My husband purchased this refrigerator for me about a year ago. Refrigerators are not cheap and apparently these have a major problem with the ice machine. The motor keeps freezing up creating this horrible humming noise. I would like to hear back from someone at Frigidaire. It appears this is a manufacturers defect. I have read the reviews and a refrigerator and this frog has some major issues. A refrigerator should last a lot longer than a year or two.

Terrible purchase...

I bought this just over a year ago(March 2015) and could not be more dissatisfied with my purchase. The ice bucket coil rusted, I received a new one, and now this one is doing the same. The ice gets stuck in the ice machine on a frequent basis. so you have to constantly check to ensure ice is being made. I have now had to have the control panel completely replaced twice.It starts with a very loud humming noise and soon enough the whole unit stops working. Lastly I had to have someone come out to unplug a water line. The water line was plugged so it was leaking, and caused the whole freezer to stop self defrosting. There were two inch sheets of ice forming on the bottom of my freezer. I typically do not write complaints, but this item has been a huge disappointment ... especially for a new home owner!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features!

We did a lot of research before deciding on this gallery package and we couldn't be happier with our decision! The counter-depth has a custom built-in look and we don't notice the difference in interior space--this baby packs a lot! It's simple and inexpensive to change both the water and air filters too. We would not hesitate to repurchase this beauty in the future!

We had this same fridge in a home we sold.We left it for the new owners. and we purchased a new one for the new house.We love the counter depth and convenient filtered ice and water on the door.

OK except for ice maker

We replaced a 22-year-old refrigerator mainly because the plastic bin of the ice maker had disintegrated and couldn't be replaced (and consequently ice cascaded to the floor way too often). The new fridge is fine but the ice cubes often clump together and thus don't dispense properly. And, you guessed it, ice cascades to the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi VEOG! You can try removing your ice container, thaw, and empty the contents. Clean your container, wipe dry, and replace in the proper position. When new ice is made, it should dispense properly. If you notice cubes are jammed between the ice maker and the rear of your ice bin, remove the cubes. Terrible ice maker

I bought this refrigerator about 6 months ago. The ice maker is a piece of garbage. It makes very little ice and it jams constantly. When you put your glass against the dispenser lever it flings the ice into the glass and more often than not it does not stop. I pick ice up from the floor constantly. The worst is that ice often remains in the door chute and drops out later all by itself. The plastic storage bins slide very poorly and make a screeching plastic on plastic sound upon sliding open or closed. As I write this the ice maker has stopped working.
