Decent Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this fridge about a month ago. It serves its purpose. The fridge and freezer door is not level and the fridge door does not close easily. Really have to push. Otherwise looks and works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience, Homeowner1234. I recommend making sure that there is no obstruction preventing the doors from closing and that the gasket is sealing properly. I also recommend making sure that the refrigerator is on a level floor that is solid, and can adequately support the weight of the refrigerator. Make sure cabinet is sitting solid on all corners. Immediate Problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge about a month ago and already had to call in a technician to fix the defroster. The fridge also makes a really loud noise when defrosting and in general. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. This was a great price but either we got a lemon or it is just not well-built.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good buy

The side-by-side design allows me to see everything at a glance, and there is sufficient room in both the refrigerator and freezer. My only complaint, and it is a significant one, is that the 36" wide counter-depth style is not available without the icemaker and water dispenser. We didn't have them hooked up but would have really liked the extra freezer space that would have come without the icemaker.

We bought this Refrigerator when we built our new house. The supplier has already had to replace the original one and the second one still has a high pitched chirp that drives you crazy. Our kitchen, living room and bedroom are all in close quarters and I have to wear ear plugs at night to drown out the high pitch sound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good morning, we hate to hear that you are unhappy with your refrigerator. Typically, the compressor operates at a higher pressure when first starting and the noise should disappear as the refrigerator continues to run and balance pressures. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Hope this helps!

Water filter runs incredibly slowly. We've had to change the filter 3 times and we've had it for less than two months. The ice box hose has also frozen over. We were able to fix it eventually

Katie1234, I am sorry to hear that you are having some problems with your ice maker. At the back of your refrigerator is a water line that runs to into your refrigerator. Remove your water line and confirm the fill tube is not frozen. If it is frozen hold the tube in your hands for several minutes and then shake the ice plug out. Hope this helps!
