Great side by side - terrible ice dispenser

Great looking, modern counter depth side by side refrigerator/freezer... One issue is the ice maker/dispenser. It is great at making ice piles on the kitchen floor as it plugs up and creates tons of shaved ice before you realize it is plugged up... Then oops... Thought the unit was defective and so did Frigidaire - but service man said there is no fix or adjustment (but suggested I clean the trap... Really?) Other than this it is a great appliance and I will be happy if I get half the time out of it as I did with my old unit....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fridge for a single person only!

I love the way it looks. It's modern, sturdy and smudge-proof. I really like the water and ice dispenser feature, especially during this summer I use it a lot! I thought the fridge would be enough for the two of us but this fridge is too small for 2-3 people in the house. The thing that I hate about this fridge is the sound of the fridge, it's so noisy when the fan is working. I didn't expect to hear such repeated noise everyday.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall good for price

We got the fridge as it was better priced than many similar stainless steel side by sides and it had good interior space. We like the flexibility of the shelf placement and large size drawers. We don't love the ice dispenser - it is large, flows too fast, and isn't easy to access or adjust but overall we are happy with it. Frigidaire has also been great. The first fridge we bought, failed about a week after we had it and they helped us with replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful but defective

This refrigerator is beautiful and has lots of features.
It's the nicest refrigerator we could find in this price range! However the problem with the ice build up in the freezer (which leads to an extremely loud noise) is something Frigidaire is aware of and needs to resolve. We've had it repaired under warranty and it is still having this problem.
I hope we can get it resolved because I love this refrigerator!!

Solid appliance

I've had this refrigerator for about three months and so far I'm quite pleased. It has plenty of room for everything, and I love having a water and ice dispenser. I wish the water would come out in a stronger stream, and one of the refrigerator drawers is a bit sticky, but those are the only things I don't like.

Good looks, Good Value

I knew what I was buying, and got what I expected. Outer Surface is easy to keep clean, I like seeing temp settings on door display. I would like the water/ice dispenser opening to be a bit taller for larger glasses or pitcher.

Basement Fridge

we needed 2nd fridge for basement/bar. this gave us sleek SS look & space saving counter depth plus very practical smudge proof for the family friendly space. and good size ice maker for counter depth fridge
