Nicely priced counter depth fridge

We were looking for a counter depth fridge that wouldn't break our budget and this fit the bill nicely. We checked out the French door styles in the counter depth, but seemed like the ice maker took up too much space in the refrigerator area. We found this side by side which had the ice and water access on the exterior door which we wanted. After having this appliance for a few months now, we are very happy with it. It really doesn't seem like we sacrificed much space going down to the counter depth size and this model was very reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the drawers don't slide very easily...nicer drawer hardware would have been a big improvement on quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this 6 months ago and the service techs cannot get the door aligned.
Also, the water from the dispenser does not route through the fridge so the water is not chilled.

Three strikes

Well I'm not the kind to review a product in a short amount of time after using it. I have had other Frigidaire products including a over the range microwave and dishwasher, also both Gallery Sieries. (The dishwasher is awesome because it is SO Quiet) Anways Back to this fridge. Everyone is right about the ice maker. I end up picking ice off the floor almost everyday unless my Labradoodle decides she wants it. Pain in the butt for someone with a bad back. And the noise level isn't the greatest but is certainly acceptable. What I find after around two years of owning this fridge is the plastic frame around the glass top drawer is junk. I have had to replace 3 of them. They are not cheap but are cheaply made. The front middle of the frame had broken on original and on both of the replacements. The frame itself relies on the drawer below it being shut tightly to help support it. If it is not and anything like a milk jug on larger container hits the middle of this when the drawer is not shut tight it can and will break. I noticed today it's cracked again....ugg. Guess I will be ordering my 3rd replacement. I love finish on the Gallery line wish the guts of it were better.

The ice maker on this refrigerator is pathetic. Having all kinds of issues. The ice shoot clogs and then when you open the door to fix it dumps ice all over the floor.

Nice looking fridge with a few quirks

I have had this refrigerator for about 6 months and I am for the most part pleased with it. It is large enough for my two person home and I love that the door shelves are removable which makes cleaning it super easy. I am however disappointed with the ice dispenser feature. When dispensing cubed ice, 3 out of 5 times the ice will get stuck in the dispenser and cause an error. I then manually have to remove the ice from the inside of the door or it will create a puddle as it melts. The crushed ice feature works just fine.

not only is it loud....changed water filter and water still stinks after about half an hour and letting three gallons of water run through system...all other water sources in home does not stink!
