Terrible Icemaker

I bought this refrigerator about 2 months ago and would like to return it. I'm so tired of mopping water and ice off the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

looks great

We love the look and function of this fridge. Plenty of room and easy to clean. However we are having trouble with the small drawer squeaking loudly when opening and closing. It makes everyone cringe like fingernails on a chalkboard but we can't figure out why it does this. The ice maker can make a high pitched sound as well. Hoping these kinks work out with use. We have had for four months.

slim, quiet, cold, and affordable

I bought this fridge about two months ago. Its great. It hums when the compressor kicks on every 15 mins or so, but no rumbling like our old fridge. It is a little loud when making ice but hardly worth noting. The slim counter profile is perfect for our old style galley kitchen. Surprisingly holds a lot of food, perfect for a family of three. Got the extended warranty through the seller because all fridges have the potential to break down.

Excellent Value!

I bought this Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and loved the way it looked so much I went back and bought the matching dishwasher, microwave & stove. My kitchen now looks up to date and best of all, I didn't have to spend a fortune!

Nice, but loud motor

The first one I got I sent back becauseThe repair person said there was a problem with the generator, the mounting made the motor very loud. The second one I got was just as loud in the next repair person said it was normal. I gave up.

Great features, terrific fridge!

I bought our refrigerator back in March. It has been terrific. Only thing I would say is it can be a little noisy from time to time. Hasn't been an issue for us though.

Disappointed

The plastic slide drawers are worse than nails on a chalkboard when you slide them open. Despite oiling them with food safe mineral oil, they just won't be quiet. Also, the front ice dispenser fires ice out at 80 miles an hour, quickly overflowing a pint glass and onto the floor. Wish there was a speed adjustment. Lastly, the motor is quite noisy, a high pitched hummed which is quite unpleasant when you want to relax. I didn't expect all of this in this price range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
