This is in my opinion August Burns Red's best album. "Composure" and "Back Burner" are my two of my favorite songs from them. They are one of those metal bands that scream but sound good.
What's great about it: Great breakdowns, heavy, you won't believe they're Christian
What's not so great: Not enough songs
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an amazing record, plain and simple. If you want hard hitting music, great vocals, and great songs, look no further then this CD by August Burns Red. This is a must buy for anyone looking for a Christian band that can play this kind of music. But if you are not familiar with this kind of music, play the sample songs so you know what you are getting into. Everyone else, BUY NOW!
What's great about it: HARD hitting music that you can't help but love
What's not so great: You have to love this music to get into this band
I would recommend this to a friend!

This cd is amazing. Every song is awesome. The breakdowns are intense, often, and technical. The lyrics are amazing, and ABR's drummer is one of the most amazing drummers you'll ever hear.
Buy it.
What's great about it: Crazy Breakdowns, So Original
What's not so great: None.

Even though I enjoyed "Thrillseeker", "Messengers" is August Burns Red's best album to date in my opinion.. Jake Luhrs brings a slightly new, but withstanding approach to the band. Their music is hard-hitting, their vocals are amazing... what else is there to say...
I had the privelage of seeing ABR in concert, and meeting Jake, and they truly are some cool guys. I'm hoping to see them again soon! They are not far from where I live which is cool too!
What's great about it: Everything!

Their Best Album Yet

If you are into the hardcore genre this is the perfect band for you. With creative guitar riffs and the sickest breakdowns you would love this band. The best part is that they are christian (if you don't believe me look up the lyrics for their song "Redemption"). I could listen to this album every day and still not be sick of it. Also don't forget to check out their new album "Constellations" coming out July 14, 2009.
What's great about it: Such heavy breakdowns, you forget this band is christian.
What's not so great: Not enough songs!
I would recommend this to a friend!
