This movie is not for the faint of heart. It has no lewd scenes, special effects, car chases, war, cuss words, greed or avarice. It is the lovely story of a father's love for his son and a son (now an adult) trying to understand his father. Centered on the boy as the hero of the story, it blends fantasy with reality without CGI. Imagination rules! Although centered in a physciatric facility, the journey focuses on the search for truth, diginity, honor and understanding of not just one's reality, but the need to be open and kind to the needs of others. Like one man's junk is another man's treasure, this movie shows that one person's crazy is not so crazy after all. What a pleasant surprise!
What's great about it: There is something for everyone to relate to.
What's not so great: Ended too soon and apparently the book does not exist.
