What a great move to pay homage to the male gender and all its gory blood glory. Some people may not like the dialogue, but they have to remember that this movie was written in a epic manner where they play on the passing of stories from one generations to another in ancient times to preserve their perception of history. It is written to play on that fact and the camaraderie that exists in conquering times. People have to get over the excessive blood and gore because it tried to convey how our brutal history made us who we are now. What an entertaining and well developed movie. I ooze testosterone and want to join the UFC after watching this movie. Great Zuess it is good to be a man!!!
What's great about it: Cinamotography was awesome
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a phenominal movie. The attention to detail and the special effects are what set this movie apart from others like it. It has a lot of action in it and has no dull points in my opionion. Not a great movie for younger kids due to the blood and gore. Overall, it is a great movie and is a must buy.
What's great about it: History, Acting, Details, Extras
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I first saw the trailer for this movie I thought, while rolling my eyes: "Another over-the-top special effects movie with a weak plot." I couldn't have been more wrong. The plot has good depth without being convoluted or slow, meaning that it keeps you interested and engaged without putting you to sleep or confusing you.For me this movie is first a great dramatic retelling of true events and second a visual feast.
My five star rating doesn't come lightly. I am not one of these people that get on here and emotionally rate everything either 1 or 5 stars. I would probably give the movie 4.4 or 4.5 stars, but since that isn't an option I choose to round up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Movie

I don't know if I got a bad copy or I need to change out my HDMI cables but it was a little grainy to me. Maybe that was the graphics but I didn't like it. Every other movie I have on blu-ray looks fantastic. I still recommend it though. I think I may take it back and get a different copy first because I was expecting it to be crytal clear.
What's great about it: Its just a great movie
What's not so great: Didn't really seem like blu ray to me
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great movie. The plot is great and same with the action. The only bad part is some acting but its not horrible and still pretty good.
What's great about it: Almost Everything
What's not so great: Just a little bit of bad acting but not horrible.

This is a great movie that gets your heart pumping , the movie has some of the best fighting sequences of recent movies .... absolutely fantastic film
I give it a 9.5 in my book
What's great about it: The action sequences are awsome
