Not the best 4K transfer, it has a lot of grain and HDR is used to a certain degree, highlights tend to no be overblown at certain times. The audio sounds phenomenal, even if you have a sound bar that isn’t Dolby Atmos, you will still be able to notice a difference. This steel book is very nice looking and inside artwork is not bad at all, I just wish the price was cheaper, maybe 24.99. Overall wait for a piece discount before spending the full 35.00 I did for this steel book, you’ll be glad you did.

I owned the blu ray when it came out and was disappointed with the sound mix. But this time around with the addition of the Dolby Atmos mix, All I can say is that it’s incredible! The 4K is also great and definitely an upgrade over the Blu Ray version but the real showcase is the Dolby Atmos sound. A must have to show off your Atmos Surround system!

The steel book looks amazing and came in good condition! A couple of dents which sucks but still a nice looking steel book. Movie was average, lots of slow-mo action but the video quality wasn’t anything to rave about. Lots of grain but the colors do pop.

Great movie with tons of extras. No Blu Ray collection is complete without this stunning masterpiece. This film was made to be viewed in HD, hands down. Blu Ray is a little pricey right now but I hopefully the battle between HDDVD and Blu Ray will have settled and consumers can finally have a complete list of titles in one format without all the corporate political headache. However, great movie, must have for any movie collection.
What's great about it: BLU RAY!!!
What's not so great: A LITTLE PRICEY
I would recommend this to a friend!

Although not 100% historically accurate, this film does a decent job of describing the battle at Thermopylae. Persians VS Spartans with aid from Greeks. This film is ok. It is fun to watch in the fighting scenes because of all the Choreographed fighting. The characters were so hard to take seriously though. The so called "immortals" had thin armor and whicker shields when it happened, not they're like ninja freaks out of a samurai movie. The oracles were just plain disturbing. I enjoyed it mostly. It was a good looking film, but its simply not one I would recommend buying. It just seems hard to see myself watching this more than once or twice.
What's great about it: Comic-like Appearance
What's not so great: Character Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just so you all know, it is a war movie of an actual event and portrays it pretty good, with that in mind there are many gorry secnes and alot of blood. All in all i thought this was a very good movie and is added to my collection!!

Cinematic flexibility with historical accuracy has been a hallmark of the film indistry for as long as I can remember. However, most of the storyline in '300' is just patently false and racist (to put it delicately).
The Spartans were perhaps one of the most undemocratic societies of their times. As the reviewer of the film noted, ideology and the overt politicization of the film detract heavily from it strengths.
The depiction of the Persians cannot be called anything but racist. Monsters and half-humans are easy to hate and root against. Films inherently necessitate a degree of editorial and artistic imagination. The historical imaginary of this film and its laughable and ethnicized portrayal of the Persians renders it no different than its erstwhile incarnation as a comic book. Can anyone say "Alexander?'

What's not so great: Everything Else
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
