this movie will definately put your surround sound to the test. intense violent battles throughout make this much more a guy movie. a more small scale movie compared to say Troy where the space just feels more open and you can get a sense of the surroundings. very uniquely done. definately a Frank Miller movie. check it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

typical action movie. they say things like this is sparta. lots of people die but it is not that bloody. ive seen better

After viewing "300" for second time on DVD, this has to be one of the most over-rated pictures in the past 5 years.
Acting is horrid, story is a pure rip-off of "Gladiator", and the visuals are are so over generated with CGI effects, it comes out so grainy, that all is lost in looking at a pure waste of time and money.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Waste of Time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You Lose 50% of the Image With Pan & Scan

this Pan & Scan version alters the original theatrical aspect ratio of the movie from 2.35:1 to 1.33:1, presenting a picture in which you lose almost 50% of the image on each side in every frame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leonidas.....his beard gets annoying his face gets annoying,he just gets annoying. but this movie was a terrible waste of 20 dollas dont buy it unless you like Leonidas' face

This movie is not for everyone because of the violence however, if your into that sort of thing this flicks for you! I like how it sets a clear story line through out the course of the movie (narative) as well as how we're given the opportunity to view what's going on in the minds of the individual characters as well as watching the story unfold. I personaly didn't like the movie because of the violence however, those around me loved it therefore, if your into blood and gour this ones for you!
What's great about it: Wonderful pictures and graphics
What's not so great: Very violent
I would recommend this to a friend!

Must See Movie!

Very exciting. "Satisfaction Guaranteed" should be printed on the case. I am unaware of anybody who dislikes 300. Definitely worth every penny. Old men feel invigorated, young men feel inspired and all the ladies get their eye candy. But do not worry fellas, we get ours in the beautiful queen. How can I best tell you? BUY 300!!! I think that works
What's great about it: Embodies the essence of being a man
What's not so great: Too much action for some
I would recommend this to a friend!

In my opinion the greatest movie of all time. Great war scenes, great story, best fighting coreography I've seen in a film. Its like watching the comic, you just have to see it.
What's great about it: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
What's not so great: Eh the troll guy is annoying but thats about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
