Ice makers problems

After only 1 1/2 years, ice maker went out. Hassle with repair service. I would not buy this product ever again !!

Loudest Fridge ever!

OMG I am so over this fridge- It has been repaired 3 times and making awful fan noises again. The first time we had it repaired was right after we had it installed. I hate this fridge.
Cons: Poor quality, keeps needing repaired

NO ice, ice baby

Worst purchase we've made in years. We've had continuous problems with the ice maker and reading repair blogs this is a well documented issue with the product. When we've called for repair, we get ridiculous trouble-shooting tips and no resolve. Ice maker problems started within 6 months. We finally gave up and bought an external ice maker. Ice maker/water dispenser leaks even when it works, and then ice maker freezes over after a couple of weeks.
In our 2.5 years of ownership, we've had to replace 3 door shelves and one interior shelf. The plastic breaks easily and is brittle.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this refrigerator!!

Confined to a counter depth we had a side by side refrigerator ..... what a difference when we got this french door with the flex zone. We use the flex drawer for the items we constantly get out of the refrigerator. The refrigerator seems to have so much more room than the old side by side and easier to organize. The ice maker keeps up with our large daily needs and it is so much easier to find things in the bottom freezer. It's been a "great" change for us!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything Samsung says about this refrigerator is completely true. My family loves everything about it. Is easy to clean, spacey, bright lightening, quiet, easy to move and I've had it for three years and no problem. I highly recommend everyone to buy this model.

Very Disappointed - Temperature control problems

We loved the look of this refrigerator. Unfortunately we are on our second unit. Continuous temperature issues that led to 4 service calls and eventually a totally box replacement. We are now having the same issues with the new unit. Front display is not accurate. inside temperature based on several different thermostats reveals that the unit functions 8 to 10 degrees warmer. Same with the freezer. Food spoils quickly. Eggs, Fruit, Vegetables all spoil all to quickly.
Ice maker dispenses very slowly and ice is chopped on any setting. I would not recommend this unit unless you have an extended warranty.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice Maker never worked properly

We have had the ice maker serviced 3 times. We replaced it and paid for it out of pocket. till doesn't work. It makes a loud nice and the ice maker gets jammed once a week. When it is working, we get mushy ice. Very disappointed.
Pros: extra drawer for deli meats
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
