after 3-4 mo. ice maker starts freezing over & stopps working. tech at our house every 6-8 wks... never resolved. very poorly designed ice maker. now no warranty, fix, ice & nowhere to turn.

**If the ice bucket can't be easily removed, it's more than likely frozen. If this happens, do not use force to remove it, or use anything such as a hairdryer to defrost it. We thank you for being a part of the Samsung family. ^Cat

year's 1-3 just fine. year 4 nothing but problems with the fan being stuck and hitting the iced over evaporator coils. every component except the motherboard has been replaced and still no fix.

do not buy this model. second time in a year that the defrost cycle has malfunctioned. ice builds up behind the panel and the fan hits the ice.

The Worst - Dont Buy

the icemaker is faulty and will freeze up every several days. apparently the water lines to the icemaker were improperly insulated thus resulting in freezing of the ice maker.

ice maker continually freezes up. buy a a good hairdryer with this unit. other than this major design problem which is a major flaw and pita the refrigerator works well and is well liked.
