Ice Maker HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY

within 2 years of purchase, ice maker kept freezing up and would not make ice. the defrost, get this, beeps the whole time it is defrosting!!!! we had to defrost every 2 weeks.
husband tried a fix he found on internet using caulking, but it did not work. flooded kitchen with water. now we do not have ice maker or cold water on our expensive appliance. ice trays take up allot of space in freezer.
1 - ice maker is not properly designed.
2 - middle drawer temperature buttons quit working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Ice Maker

do not purchase! we have had this model for 4 years and are out of warranty and the ice maker has died. for the last 4 years we have struggled with the ice maker freezing and jamming up weekly. google samsung ice maker issues and you will see recalls (which my model is not part of), problem after problem, law suits etc. spend your money elsewhere.

Does Not Keep Food Cold!

we have owned this very expensive fridge for 6 years. the fridge shows that it is set at 34°f. my kids drink milk everyday, and they started to complain about the taste. i smelled it and it had gone rotten. i put a thermometer in the fridge and it is only reading 43°f. samsung is aware that these issues with the coils. i had nausea, diareah, and vomiting from eating some of the leftovers in the refrigerator. according to the usda the fridge should be less than 40°f.
the sad part is, samsung is still selling this fridge and others just like it, with known issues on their websites and through many distributors. this product and many other samsung refrigerators should be recalled, and consumers be refunded their money.
do not buy!
you have been warned!!!

Worst Refrigerator I ever owned

Biggest piece of you know what. I will never buy a Samsung product again. Ice maker continually freezes up and is worthless. Vegetables wilt in the crisper drawers. Had service come out to align doors twice and still a problem. Freezer is worthless. I'm tired of typing so I'm stopping now.

For the ice maker to operate properly, water pressure must be between 20 and 125 psi (138 and 862 kPa). If the refrigerator is installed in an area with low water pressure (below 20 psi / 138 kPa), you can install a booster pump to compensate for the low pressure.

State of the Arts Refrigeration/Freezer System.

Truly a state of the arts refrigeration/freezer system. Looks good, works superbly well, and fits in nicely with my new Kitchen, along with our new Samsung Range, Convection/Microwave Oven, Dish Washer, TV, and even a Samsung branded counter top.

This is the best fridge I've ever owned and I've had plenty. Gorgeous appearance, inside lighting phenomenol, convenient drawer / compartments and our food is kept fresh as can be.

Many great features e.g. the Flex Zone drawer, ability set exact temperatures, Everything is easily visible. Seems to have more capacity than our old fridge of same size.

First time having a refrigerator with crushed, cubed ice and cold water. The digital read out tells you the temp for the freezer and refrigerator. I've read reviews that it runs loud, well just the normal hum which is a quiet hum.
Pros: Bright display
