A total disappointment. replacing the water filter reqwuires Superman.

I have had to call Samsung several times to assist with a question.i.e. what temperatures are best? I am now nursing sore fingers from trying to get a new water filter in place. I still have not been able to do it and if a neighbor can't help, then hopefully a plumber can. It should be simple but I cannot get it locked. Samsung support suggested I move the refrigerator to turn off water line. Excuse me. How much does this fridge weigh? Instructions --what little they are--do not say this but he tried to tell me that was on the filte4r. I'm still looking..
I have almost decided to donate this refrigerator and get another one.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, wasnot told filters had to be changed so often a, can't get filter in lock, no place for butter eggs miss my old fridge
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible ice maker, awesome otherwise

The ice maker in this refrigerator is it's downfall. Otherwise this refrigerator is awesome. Its sleek, loaded with features/functionality, and looks great. But for such a high-end refrigerator that only has 1 small ice maker, you would expect it to be more robust/reliable and with less issues.
Not long after our 1 year warranty ended, the ice maker suddenly started icing up. There are no issues with the gaskets/seals. I have scoured the internet for solutions, and it seems many other customers have this same issue. We now have to pull the tray and thaw it out completely every couple months. Between thaws, ice production slows gradually until it completely stops.
This refrigerator would be 5 stars all the way without the ice maker issues. Due to ice maker issues, it is overall below average, and NOT recommended.
Pros: sleek, looks great
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, reliability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The door is not even ad to make it even you need door snap rings that you cannot even put on my fridge, so the fridge is permanently uneven. This fridge is also the only one with snap rings all others do not need snap rings. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SAMSUNGS JOB ON THIS FRIDGE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] had 1 year and it does not hold temperature-food spoils after a few days. the display indicates it is 38 and thermometers read 41-43. ice maker doesn't work, water runs out and ice is soft.

**If the ice bucket can't be easily removed, it's more than likely frozen. If this happens, do not use force to remove it, or use anything such as a hairdryer to defrost it

Ice Maker is a huge issue

We bought this refrigerator a little over five years ago. after a bout a year started having issue with the ice maker: it would stop working because ice would freeze, there was ice on the walls inside all over. Today the ice bucket just fell apart. this is not the quality we expectedfor the price

Thank you for your review of the experience with the ice maker on your refrigerator.

For the ice maker to operate properly, water pressure must be between 20 and 125 psi (138 and 862 kPa). If the refrigerator is installed in an area with low water pressure (below 20 psi / 138 kPa), you can install a booster pump to compensate for the low pressure.

HORRIBLE ICE MAKER

I have had my Samsung for about 5 years now and the ice maker stopped working after about a year. It is a total hassle and if I were to go back, I wish someone would've told me this because there isn't a single feature in the fridge in this fridge that is worth the hassles: having to always deal with it freezing up, chopping the ice, leaking, purchasing 20 lbs bags weekly. I have Centerpoint Home Service Plus service and they used to "service" this fridge but will no longer due the the significant number of people having issues that cannot be resolved.
I entertain often and with large groups of people and every single person that has come into my home notices the issues that I have had for years and everyone comments that they would never buy this fridge and they know to always bring bags of ice to my home because I am always running out to get some.
