Overall good but some design flaws

First day having the fridge installed a large iced latte spills allover the inside. Found out the hard way that the crisper drawers only come out if the doors can open beyond 90 degrees. So I have to pull out my fridge to clean under the drawers.
The soda stream feature is also very sensitive. It keeps trying to reset the canister.
Otherwise fridge is beautiful, spacious and practical.

Two things I would change, no auto fill for water and doors to open a little wider!
Runs quite, great features and sparkling water too!
Doors are solid and don't believe the loud compressor noise complaints, they must have had a lemon.

Best Refrigerator Ever Owned

This refrigerator is by far the best I have ever owned. From having a generous amount of space to the convenient features such as adaptable shelving to the Sodastream dispenser. All I can say is that it is perfect in every way. Samsung is so outstanding in my eyes that I switched out to Samsung on all of my appliances including Security cameras, DVR, Cable box, Cell phone and my gear2 watch. I am working on getting the Home Theater. Coming soon :-). They have a lock on modern convenience. Kudos to Samsung!!

Unexpected problems

First, I would like to state that the refrigerator size is great for our large family. The soda stream was a definite plus for the teens. The freezer compartment is with the extra tray on top is wonderful. Although the unit does keep the food at a proper temperature, there are some problems with the design that I did not foresee. The most annoying is the fact that I cannot open the doors far enough to remove the vegetable drawers to clean them or to clean under them. We have found that It is very noisy to operate as well. Also, it would have been nice to have an indicator light to alert us when the sparkling water cartridge is empty as well as when it is recharging.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

Love this frig.

A big plus is the spacious freezer on the bottom with the sliding drawer on top of it. The sliding drawer works great for bread, ice cream, etc. - the items you get out of the freezer more often. I also love the fact it seems like fruits and vegetables last so much longer in this frig than they did in my old one. And, this frig has lots of room - don't think I've run out of space in the little over a year I've had it - including holiday leftovers. Would definitely recommend to others.

Awesome fridge, except for ice maker

Our family loves this refrigerator, for the most part. Everything is great except for the ice maker/ice dispensing. This causes us to not like this fridge at all.
1) The ice maker builds up a lot of frost. So much that it will accumulate to the point where it will block the small clearance the ice has to drop into the bucket. Removing the bucket then becomes a choir. Our bucket actually has a crack along the bottom. Fridge is just over a year old so we are on our own for any warranty work. So once a month I have to take a putty knife and scrape ice build up from the inside of the ice maker. Not what one would expect from a supposed higher end fridge.
2) The ice dispensing area also accumulated frost. Because it's in the door it will melt. When you put your cup under it to retrieve ice you will first get water from the melted ice. The water will not make it to the cup, it will run down the back and into the catch pan area.
Aside from 1 and 2. The fridge is designed well and maintains perfect temperature. The inside is spacious and well lit.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, ice maker

This Is an overall good fridge with nice features. The ice/water dispenser could be better to avoid spills. The inside usuable space is small for such a big fridge.

Overall, I love this fridge. It has great features and loads of room! I'm running to the supermarket a LOT less frequently.
The first couple of weeks of owning it, I wondered about the noise and it seemed to be running all the time. But maybe this model needs a breaking in period, because that has all worked itself out. It's quiet (except when the ice drops) and it now goes long periods of time without running, while maintaining it's internal temperature.
The shelves are very versatile and can be changed easily to fit whatever size container or bottle you are using. The middle drawer is by far my favorite thing! Load it with all the things you use most often (yogurt, soda, bottled water, fresh fruit) and you will find yourself rarely opening the main compartment. An energy saver right there. I'll never have another fridge without that drawer! The Soda Stream is a fun extra. It isn't made to be filling bottles, but more a glass at a time. We have found it adequate for our needs. The Soda Stream canister is easy to replace as is the regular water filter.
As others have mentioned, the vegetable drawers and ice bin are difficult to remove because of the door openings. But I rarely have to take those completely out, so it hasn't been a huge problem. If you tend to spill a lot in your fridge, that might be a consideration, though.
As with most stainless steel appliances, fingerprints are a pain in the neck. If you have little children and don't like wiping down your appliances every couple of days (or hours), rethink getting stainless. You've been warned.
One last comment. This fridge is huge! Measure your external door openings, your fridge space, and any places that might be iffy to get it into the kitchen. This is bigger than a standard fridge! But if you have the space, go for it. It's a great fridge.
