Nice refrigerator but noisy

I like the layout of this refrigerator and its features but it makes quite a bit noise, almost constantly, keeping cool.
Pros: Bright display, good design/layout
Cons: noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We researched refrigerators for close to 3 months- This one came out on top! This is a great refrigerator with a tremendous amount of storage space that offers multiple configurations to accommodate a variety of things. The LED lighting is awesome. It took a couple weeks and some tweaking to get the humidity settings correct in the drawers in the refrigerator and also the freezer setting, but now that we've got it set correctly it is awesome. The freezer held substantially more than we expected, too. The only area of concern that might not be expected is that when the fridge cycles, it does get a tad noisy- it's not too bad and you'll quickly get used to it, but it is louder during those times than our previous side by side was. It also looks great in the kitchen- high quality both outside and in.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, great addition to the kitchen, great design, quality

Difficult to change water filter

I have and my Samsung refrigerator for 1 year and I have had to change the water filter twice. Be aware that to change the water filter you must pull the refrigerator out to turn off the water valve. This is difficult for me as I have back issues and I am in my 60's. First of all the refrigerator does not roll out easily. Second, after turning the water valve off, I cannot get the used water filter out. It is stuck. I cannot lock it back in place or remove it. And as the other reviews said the refrigerator is noisy. Very disappointed, I would not buy again. I expected more from Samsung….come on guys you can do better!!!

Cons: Did not meet expectations, difficult to change water filter, noisy, does not roll out easily

The ice maker makes ice that is "milky" in color. Cannot get it to clear up.

Granted I have had the refrigerator for only a short time but It's Quite, beautiful, and has great functionality. The extra drawer is a must for any future fridges and allows for easy access and without affecting the rest of the fridge. Very easy to maintain, but it would be nice to offer a Smudge Free stainless steel, I would pay a little extra for that feature.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, quite, funcinality

Having a family of 5 this refrigerator is a must for any family. keeps all our food and then some stored very nicely. A giant freezer!

Very Nice Fridge

My product was delivered a week ago and we are thrilled with it. No surprises at all. I did my research and all manufactured goods have a small percentage of defective products. A perceived defect could even be the actual delivery, incorrect installation or the end user not reading the manual, not necessarily sloppy quality or poor design from the manufacturer.
Based on reading reviews on the internet, I was prepared to initialize the ice-maker, wait 24-36 hours for the temperature to stabilize, have dirt come out in the initial glasses of water etc. However, the fridge has exceeded my expectations. No such issues. Fridge stablized in 8 hours to factory set temperatures. I reset them to -1F freezer and 35F refrigerator, and it has stayed that way ever since. Water from the dispenser is cold, and nothing seems out of the ordinary temperature-wise inside the fridge.
The water came out clean right away, although I thew away the first 8 glasses, and made sure there was no air in the waterline.
The fridge dispensed nice clear ice cubes in 24 hours, and I just thew away 5-6 glasses full.
The fridge is very bright inside and roomy. Swallows big and tall items like I never could in my previous side-by side model.
The Flexi-drawer hold 3 6-packs of different cans and beer bottles and has room left over for lots of other items. Very convenient to reach there for a coke than open the top fridge.
Runs very quiet, although you can hear it first thing in the morning standing about 8 ft away. That's totally acceptable to me.
I'm expecting this refrigerator to do well long term, since everything has been flawless so far.
Pros: Inexpensive, nice interior space design, features such as good ice volume
