I bought this product a month ago and the sound is good but the internet browser is very very poor. The Opera Mini browser is not interactive and only loads Facebook...It cannot stream or load simple websites...its definitely a 1 out 10.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to set up and sound quality is good. Really like the Night sound mode as it helps reduce loud sounds while keeping dialog audible.
However it does not provide enough volume to really get it to where I can hear it, I have an older Sony system that this replaced as the old one stopped working and the volume on the older system was better. This seems to be an issue with most of the new systems, at least the ones I can afford.

I just purchased this on the 1st, and it took me awhile to get used to it. Not bad for the price, my only con is that you have to go back to the main menu setting to switch audio modes from v settings to audio

Were very glad we bought the theater system it has very good sound, although you will need to update the software internet access is needed it was easy to do.
