I have no complaints about the wire except you had to really look to fine the small print on one line so you could ID +/- from each other. I thought the cost was a little high but had nothing to compare it to. I wired several rooms with it from my zone control and the sound is good in each room.
What's great about it: Gauge about right for all sound.
What's not so great: Marking and cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've used this wire for a home entertainment system for the last 10 years and it's performance had been outstanding with no degradation or loss of performance. Recently we moved, and we needed to rewire. Best Buy still had the wire at a great price. Don't be fooled by the high priced specialty wire. This wire works just as well if not better with very little if any loss or resistence. Definately a winner.

Review of speaker wires bought at Best Buy
on September 22, 2011

Bought 2 100' spools of speaker wire from Best Buy. It cost more than I thought, since I'm an old guy and haven't bought speaker wire since the 1990s. The wire is marked well so it's easy to see which of the two attached wires is positive. The insulation is strong and transparent, but was easy to strip with the right tool. I would buy it again.
What's great about it: good quality

When installing, the wire isn't color coded so it's impossible to determine the negative from the positive, especially with long runs. Why would you make DIY wire that can't be distinguished?

Works well at a decent price

Bought this wire to run my surround sound speakers to the back side of a rather long family room. Wire was easy to run, and works very well. If I could say anything negative, it would be that I would have liked to have had wire that was white (the wire I got was clear - so it looks like copper). But I knew this wasn't white when I bought it - and that the competitor's white wire was considerably more expensive. This does the job very well at a much better price, and that's what was important to me.
What's great about it: cost, performance
What's not so great: choice of color
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is just speaker wire, but it's amazing what some people will charge for speaker wire. This is a good gauge stranded wire. The insulation is sufficient to stand up to the vacuum cleaner during accidental roll-overs, but still maintains flexibility. Doesn't tangle. Hasn't summoned any dark forces to my home. What more can you ask for?
What's great about it: Flexible, but doesn't tangle
What's not so great: The polarity markers are tiny, It has no nutritional value
