For the first few weeks after I bought this game, while I was still completing the story mode, this game was engrossing. Its story is incredible and the gameplay is very unique. I enjoyed the multitude of was to carry out the assassination, from charging in with a sword drawn, to a stealthy blade, to a knife thrown from a rooftop. However, the assassinations are few and far between, and there are remedial tasks to be accomplished before they can be accessed. The story, is very repetitive, with the same tasks appearing before each mission. However, the assassinations are so unique, that it is worth it to play through the game multiple times just to approach each a different way. Overall, the game was a great experience.
What's great about it: Incredible game play, engrossing story, great graphics, great environment

I have to admit I disliked the game at first and judged it before actually taking the time to play the game. Pros: The game has an intriguing story that will develop even more when the next Assassin's Creed comes out. I had plenty of fun slaying people in the open and using stealth to kill in secret. The graphics are amazing and by far some of the best I've seen on the 360. Also, the side quests make the game last longer and I had fun terrorizing the kingdom in pursuit of flags and templars. Cons: I was discouraged by the repetitive look of the game but I was not being fair because I never got into the game. The repetition may be just a bit annoying but if you sit down and give the game some attention, you will be hooked to the game. The game overall is still awesome. AND WHEN DOES #2 COME OUT??
What's great about it: Story, sneaky kills, graphics, side quests
What's not so great: Repetition, release date for AC 2

Assassin's Creed for Xbox 360 is a great game. But after a while it starts to get repitive. you do all the same things in each world you travel too. you pickpocket someone, ease drop on conversation, do birds eye view jumps, and fight a boss at the end of each level. i hope they come out with part 2 and learn from the mistakes in this game. Don't get me wrong it is a good game and a takes awhile to beat, so you get your moneys worth. there is really good grahics as well. the best part is climbing and jumping from roof top to roof top.
What's great about it: great game plan, and i love the time this take place. almost gives you a feel of the renaissance time.
What's not so great: gets repitive, you do all the same things in each world you go to. pick pocket, fight, birds eye view jumps.

This first game in the series has some of the most inovative gameplay I've seen in a while, Ubisoft did a great job bringing all this ancient cities to life. This is a stealth game, most of the time you will be trying to keep your self under the radar, but u can go crazy and reveal your self at any given time. You're an assassin that made a mistake and is being lectured and trained all over again, so they make you do all these assassinations to prove you're worthy of the Creed of Assassins. Before you get the name of your target you will have to do some investigation missions to find out why you're killing him or what happens around him. These missions are basicly easy just follow the icons on the map and do the specific action. You don't have to follow the rules but it sure makes the game all challenging and fun to play a stealthy assassin. The battle system is easy to use and it works smothly u have your regular attacks and your stealth, counter and combo, wich you perform br presing the right or left trigger then the corresponding weapon button. You have 3 weapons you have a sword, hidden knife and a dagger, when using the dagger you also have access to throwing knifes for those gurds on the oposite rooftops you may not be able to get fast enough. On the graphics side it looks gorgeous alld the detail they gave to the main character and the city looks breath taking, some of the people on the cities dont looks as sharp as the main character but that can be forgiven since it the console is running this whole city without having to wait for loading screen when you run from one end to the other. If you like stealth games you will love Assassin's Creed if you don't, it's still a great game and you should give it a try, i had alot of fun playing through the whole game. I would give it a 9/10 just because of the repetitive missions but besides that it all comes together to from a superb game.
What's great about it: Huge gorgeous worl full of life.
