[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had for 3 months and already had to have service on the ice maker. The chill drawer freezes everything in the back and I can't figure out how to change that.
Otherwise, it's a fine side by side basic fridge. Except for the inconvenience of the ice maker breaking it was not s no deal and was fixed quickly and has worked since. Things happen.
I am one of the minority of people who happen to like side by side. It's a perfectly good side by side with as much space as possible.

Thank you for your feedback, Barbmarq. We apologize that you are experiencing some concerns with your refrigerator. Chill Drawer temperatures can be adjusted by sliding the Chill Drawer Temperature Control in either direction. Use this pan for short term storage of bulk meat items. If meats are to be kept longer than one or two days, they should be frozen. The Chill Drawer is fixed and cannot be moved up or down. If fruits or vegetables are to be stored in the Chill Drawer, set the Chill Drawer Temperature Control to a warmer setting to prevent freezing. By far, this is the most horrible appliance I have ever purchased. We previously had two frigidaire side by sides and had no problems with either, in fact the first of the two lasted 27 yrs. and was still in operation when we moved 12 yrs. ago. The second unit had a life span of only hallf the first did but we thought we would try a third unit. We are living a NIGHTMARE with this new unit that we purchased August 3, 2016. Please read below for details

NOISEY!!!

This refrigerator is embarrassingly noisy. I spend my hard earned money to buy a new refrigerator research ones that said they were quiet because I'm in a condo and it feels like I'm a landing strip at the airport. I've had my share of refrigerators over my lifetime and this is appaling. They replaced the first noisy one with a second noisy one. They have replaced part after part and I have to take off work every time. I really would like to get my money back and try another brand but they won't let me. The techs say that this is the way the refrigerators are made now days. It reminds me of how badly American cars were made back in the 70s. Keep your old refrigerators and have them repaired… That's with the repairman tell me .

uneven doors

I'm not so happy with this fridge. The doors are not even and sometimes we get frost on the inside of the freezer. Each time the repairman tells me it's because the floor isn't level, but the house isn't that old and why can't they make it level? It's extremely frustrating!!! We paid a lot of money and are not very happy

Nothing but problems with the unit I purchased. I had the repair service out three different times they were unable to correct the problem of the refrigerator freezing everything. Eventually returned it to the store to exchange for a different brand appliance. Consequently I was without a refrigerator for more than 8 weeks. Cannot recommend this product.

Works Great - Looks Great!

This unit fits our 35"W x 72"H space perfectly and it really does look beautiful. The front has a gentle curve that complements the sleek curve of the handles. The doors open and close with a secure, strong feel. The water dispenser and ice maker work very well. We dispense ice several times a day and I think this helps to keep the ice from "welding" together in the storage bin and maybe jamming. The temperature in both the refrigerator and the freezer is constant and correct - I checked it with a sport thermometer. it makes a few odd sounds at times, but they seem to be just part of its normal operation. Maybe this first month has been a "honeymoon", but I do like this machine.

Not as nice as I had hoped.

First off, you don't get what the pics say you will get. There is no pizza box slot next to the icemaker. The installation guy said there was only room for that on the 36" models. Silly me, how could I not know.... The finish is very nice, but the handles have an uncanny ability to lift every particle from your hands and fingers for deposit onto the handles, so I'm always having to wipe those down. Lastly, the ice maker jams quit easily, and while an alarm sounds and an error code displays from the door being jammed open, it doesn't turn off the dispensing mechanism so everything tends to panic until they finally open the door and ice flies everywhere; a mistake to combine the operating lever to the dispenser cone as people panic and keep it engaged. The unit makes an uncanny variety of noises and groans, though that doesn't bother me very much. Just seems weird that something that should be rather simple has gotten to be so costly and complex.
It is efficient space wise for the size of the unit, though removing one crisper drawer would have made it far better.
The pros: The freezer section is bigger than normal for a unit this size and holds a good amount. The cold side does as well, but would do better with the removal of one of the crisper bins.
