Only issue is ice sticks in the chute. Bought two months ago and already had the chute flapper replaced due to frosting

Ice Maker is very loud!

Nice looking Refrigerator but the Ice Maker is So LOUD I thought someone was breaking into my Condo. If you have a big house this won't be an issue, but I have a beach Condo and it is LOUD.

Overall Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this five months ago and am so disappointed! Drawers are cheesey and everything seems so cheaply made compared to the refrigerator I replaced that was eighteen years old. I guess it is true that they don't make things like they use to. I have already had to replace one of the drawers which cracked when I simply pulled it out(I received on that didn't match). The shelves are much deeper and things just get lost in the back and I have a hard time seeing everything I have. The outside looks nice and the lighting inside is good. Have had frequent trouble with the ice maker. It jams very easily. I was so excited to get my new stainless steel refrigerator, and now all can think is that I am stuck with this for eighteen years!!

Oh no, Tammy66! We want you to be happy with your refrigerator too! I understand about the shelves being deeper, but they are our sliding SpillSafe glass shelves! These shelves slide out for easy access to things in the back of the shelf, and keep spills contained. You just gently pull them forward and nothing should get lost again! some problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago, I like some of the features but very dissatisfied with all the plastic pieces hanging from the inside doors. We have tries everything to remove these strips but no luck and they are very unsightly. No advise from the appliance store where it was purchased.
Also, the freezer started heating up one day and went up 22F. Called a repair company but they were not open. It finally settled back to 0 but we had to throw away the ice cream. I called your cust. service and they told me it was just a defrost cycle and normal. Nothing in the instruction manual indicates that this will happen periodically. Also, one of the door loudly sqeaks when opening/closing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NanP, I can only imagine how frustrating removing the packaging material can be. The installers should have removed all of the packing materials for you. I did a casual internet search, and found several sites that mention oil can help to remove the sticky residue left behind. In your Owner’s Manual, pages 38 and 39 address your refrigerators defrost cycle. You also mentioned that one of the doors is squeaking, this is also an installation issue. Are your doors level with the frame of the body of the refrigerator? You can find the directions to adjust the doors yourself on page 6 of your Owner’s Manual. Warm regards, Ruth
