Hey Rapid Robert, thank you for choosing Frigidaire. Typically, the compressor operates at a higher pressure when first starting and the noise should disappear as the refrigerator continues to run and balance pressures. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the unit for two months now and the front temp read out has numbers out already.Cant even read what the fridge or freezer temps are along with the other features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this over a month ago and it is very noisy. I just don't mean the compressor turning off/on. It makes noises like there is water leaking. When the ice maker pulls water in you can hear it downsatirs! I had the company that installed the refrig come back and check it out to ensure it was not leaking anywhere. No leaks but it still has me very concerned. I just hope I do not have problems down the line with the model.

Love my new fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only issue i see is that the ice comes out to quick or sometimes doesnt come out at all, but its really not an major problem. The ice just gets stuck a little in the ice maker. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great layout. My wife loves the LED lighting. I like the water and ice feature. However sometimes the ice doesn't get broken up enough to come down the chute and gets clogged up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the unit was installed, the doors were not aligned properly. There were no others in stock so the dealer reordered another unit. It seems that they had some extras so they sent several to the dealer. The dealer had to open several units and determined that there was only a slight improvement in the door alignment and selected the best, which is not totally aligned but seems to be functioning properly at this time. Of course this took quite a long time and a lot of extra work for the dealer and myself. Too much moving units in and out of my house and too moving food in and out. Some one should take note of this comment to review this issue with remaining units.
