Noisy

I had no idea how noisy this appliance was. It clicks, and squeaks like it’s under stress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can definitely understand your concern with some sounds coming from your refrigerator.
Your refrigerator can make many sounds such as snapping or clicking; which are a part of the normal operating sounds from your refrigerator.
The electronic control and automatic defrost control can produce a snapping or clicking sound when turning the cooling system on and off.

Would never purchase again

I bought this refrigerator 19 months ago (10/17/17) & it has been a very disappointing purchase. The plastic parts that hold the shelves in the freezer are ripping out of the freezer walls, and one freezer door shelf cracked, since about 8 months of use. At 14 months of use, two of the door shelves on the refrigerator cracked, making one of them completely un-usable. Now, at 19 months of use, the top "fresh" drawer handle in refrigerator side cracked in half upon opening the drawer. I am very disappointed that the plastic started cracking after 8 months of use & has only gotten worse & if I could afford another refrigerator right now, I would go buy one that is not of this brand. We do not overstock this refrigerator with a lot of weight, also we take great care of it, so I am not sure why all of the plastic is cracking with normal use.
Also the ice maker intermittently makes ice, it frequently stops working and has to be reset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful fridge, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a a beautiful fridge and we were excited to get it; my husband has been wanting a side-by-side fridge forever. Now that we've had it for a few months, we are disappointed. It's not as spacious as it appears; we've had to purchase all new storage containers because it's so tight. Our salad bowl can't fit on the same shelf with another storage container. Had to get rid of all of our round containers with rectangle to be able to properly store anything. The worst part is that items along the back and left side of the refrigerator side FREEZE! Frozen lettuce, berries, milk, eggs, etc. We've had to throw so much out. Not happy with this purchase.

Defective defrost

This is a 3 year old unit that cannot defrost freezer section. As you can see from the photos- an iceberg and icicles form inside. The door seals are all tight and there is no air leaking in from outside the unit.
