I first saw this movie when i was like 6 or 7 years old when i saw it at blockbuster. Of course i didn't see it once it came out in the 70s because i wasn't born yet but it caught my attention. I saw it and once it was finished, i was freaked out on how scary it was. Sure i was 6 or 7 but by then i had seen almost every nightmare on elm street, jason, chucky, and other horror movies that were out by then. I was used to seeing horror movies for a while. Still the last time i saw it was a few months ago and it still was pretty scary and intense. Anybody who loves great horror movies this is a good one to watch whenever you get the chance to. I might just buy this movie and then check out the remake by rob zombie to see if it's as great as the classic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Like everyone else said this movie is a instant classic. one of the best horror movies ever!! O by the way the new HAlloween Directed by Rob Zombie Is A MUst bUy Also!!!!!

"Halloween" is one of the most famous horror films ever made. It has great acting, a great story, and creepy-as-heck moments throughout! This movie is totally recommended to fans of the horror genre, people who don't like horror films might even like this too! I totally recommend buying this product, it's worth every penny!
What's great about it: Great acting, great scares!
What's not so great: Not long enough!
I would recommend this to a friend!

this movie is the reason that I am a film student! this is one of the greatest movies ever!!!!!
What's great about it: great actors, extras, directing,music, scare;it has everything!
What's not so great: there are none

Old School Horror...

Quite possibly the greatest horror movie ever made.
Souly responsible for the slasher genre of the late 70s and 80s. Simply horrifying with very little gore but Michael Myers is now a true horror icon.
When I saw this movie in the theatre there were litterally people jumping out of their seats in terror.
Other than the Universal Classics like The Wolfman, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Dracula this is the best of the best.
I would recommend this to a friend!

a perfect film, any horror and suspense film would love it. the music is the best ever. the suspense keeps you watching. the acting of the killer was perfect. a must have for a "halloween", or any suspense fan.
What's great about it: perfect hd picture and sound transfer, great price, awesome film
What's not so great: not as expected amount of bonus material in a special re-release
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think HALLOWEEN has been around so long that nothing new can be said about it. It is a classic and shall forever be. I was a senior in high school when it came out. It has forever changed the Halloween season for me. I cannot imagine Halloween without HALLOWEEN. I think it has a lot more meaning for us "older" kids. Just like DAWN OF THE DEAD, FRIDAY THE 13th, CARRIE, and my personal favorite, THE SHINING. they were all pioneer movies. The music and the mood of these films will never be matched, copied, yes. I highly recommend all five of these movies. There are alot of other decent horror movies out also, but if I want to "go back in time", I just pop in one of these and let the memories & goosebumps start.
