Nice and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this last November and have been really happy with it. It's quiet and effective. We have to scrape our plates because the Bosch dishwashers don't have food grinders. That's OK with us because it's one of the reasons the unit is so quiet.
We've had to get into the habit of gripping the handle in the center when we open or close the door to keep from accidentally hitting the control buttons. That's just a learning process, not something we consider a problem.

Unbelievably Quiet!

We really liked the nondescript front panel and pocket handle because it allowed us to match it with our other appliances. The design of the dish racks are excellent for being able to load a large amount of dishes in the provided space. Despite the fact that nearly all dishwasher cabinets fit into the same space, this model allows for more dishes per load. The third rack is nice for items like tupperware lids, as well as kitchen utensils. This dishwasher is the quietest dishwasher I've ever heard. Truly, it's so quiet that you can barely tell that it's running. All in all this is a great dishwasher and I would highly recommend it.

Don't know what I did before the 3rd rack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for about 5 months now. We wanted a quiet one after our "subdivision special" wore out. Make sure keep a bottle of rinse aid on hand. Your dishes will not dry properly without it, and everything will stay wet for a long time. There is a bit of a learning curve, so read the book. VERY QUIET!! Love it!

A QUIET and QUALITY PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been using this model for about two months and thus far it is performing according to expectations. This model is extremely quiet and thus has a red light shining on the floor to remind you it is actually running. Another excellent feature is the third tray on top that is very useful in handling long, thin items, such as cooking utensils and knives. In our locale, water consumption is not an issue, but when the dishwasher is operating there is no noticeable water pressure drop. We use the recommended settings, so we cannot comment on the effects of the others; however, establishing your preferred settings takes some close reading of the manual. Besides its overall cleaning efficiency (for instance, it takes tea stains off of white cups), we also like the bottom filter that can be cleaned, the out of sight control panel; the adjustable dividers on the two main shelves, and the stainless steel shell.

love the third rack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch 800 is virtually SILENT while running. The third rack on top allow me to load lots of extra-long items like spatulas or serving tongs. I can also put smaller items on the third rack like a small dish. It's wonderful :)

REALLY CLEANS GOOD AND REALLY QUIET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] REALLY CLEANS and drys GOOD, IF USE NORMAL CYCLE WITH Sanitize and Extra Shine buttons. BUT CAN'T LEAVE DISHES IN THE DISHWASHER OVERNIGHT, BECAUSE THEY GET CLOUDY, foggy, and wet. DISHWASHER IS REALLY QUIET TOO. And love the 3rd rack and light shining on floor to indicate it is still on. I do wish the bottom rack had some lay down tines like the middle rack. Recommend if you unload same day as washing if not have to rewash.

Clean and Quiet!

You could almost hear my old dishwasher down the street and it didn't clean the dishes well. I can whisper and be heard standing next to it and my dishes are spotless; i would give it 6 stars if it were possible. The racks are easy to load and well designed to take many sizes of plates, lids and utensils.
