I had the last GE for 17 years. I like the black color and the finish. It fits nicely in my kitchen. The only complaint (which I had read in other reviews) is the ice dispenser spits chips of ice along with the cubes. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase.

This is just the right size and just the right amount of accessories for us. Ice maker works great and the shelves are adjustable and sturdy. The black color is rich and blends perfectly with the other GE gear.

Works quietly other than ice maker filling up. Just wish the shelves did not have slight ridges around the edges.

Expend just a little more in production and make the drip screen for the water dispenser out of stainless steel and CLEANABLE. Any water evaporates and leaves mineral solids. The plastic screens are not able to be cleaned to look as original. Please make it simpler for us.
