Purchased this refrigerator about year ago. It replaced the GE fridge that was in the home when I bought it and appeared to be quite new. But at around 5 years of use the circulating fan became noisy and eventually stopped working and of course the refrig erator could not hold temp. I liked the features of this model of GE appliance and bought the exact same model and have my fingers crossed that I will have trouble free operation for at least 10 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost the same as the 13 yr old model we replaced. You have to be careful to push the doors completely shut. The older model came with dividers for a couple of the trays in the door.

We've had our GE refrigerator for 3 months and have not had any real issues with it.
The only problem is that the light in the water/ice alcove has never worked and we haven't been able to find a replacement. Otherwise it does it's job and has more room than expected.
