Best Buy for the Money

Not having the money for a Stainless Steel Refrigerator, I purchased this Black Refrigerator from GE. It is highly Energy Efficient, Looks Great and Reliable. Thank You GE.

Perfection at a great price!

We bought this a few months ago and love it. It serves all purposes that we need and is so efficient. My parents bought a big fancy 4 door with all the bells and whistles that was the same price as my first car. I get so frustrated when I am there just getting ice and water out of the door, theirs is painfully slow. The ice and water are probably the most used feature in this family of 5. It fills so quickly and even surprised my Dad when he came to visit. This is an excellent product at an even more excellent price.

The shelves in this fridge are not really flexible to move like I would like. Had a fridge that I could move the shelves and the drawers how I wanted them and can't do that with this one. Makes the space between top drawer and next kind of unusable. Things tend to get lost because shelf is not tall enough making it easy to forget about them. Also the water dispenser is placed odd. My kids always seem to end up spilling their water because the line where it comes out is too far back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Basic Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator several months ago and thus far I have been relatively pleased. I especially like the function that tells the temperature both in the freezer and the cabin, the water filter seems to be a very good one according to the information provided, and the automatic ice dispenser seems consistent. My food has stayed fresher longer. This refrigerator replaced a top freezer GE that I had for 17 years that was no longer cooling properly. The noise is still there; i.e. this refrig. makes loud noises periodically just like the other one, and the manual tells the consumer that noises will come from this refrigerator. For the price, I can live with the noises since they are somewhat infrequent. I must say that I thought the inside would be roomier than it is. I personally would like to have more room; I think the inside is rather small for the cubit ft. This is my first side-by-side. The outside finish looks great and gives the refrigerator a high quality look. So far so good for us

Bought because it has textured finish which is far superior to other finishes. So far my only complaint is with the night light- used very little and blew out. Can not find replacement bulbs at local stores. Standard night light bulb will not work. Also bulb is hard to access. Not as roomy as my old GE profile of the same size. 1?2 the space in door storage shelves.. Very accurate temperature wise so far. Would recommend as far as value of product for the money
