more expensive than a standard size fridge, but we could fit more into a standard size fridge. The freezer space has expanded, but at the expense of space on the refrigerator side. Fridge side is nice and deep, but this also makes it hard to reach and pull out items in the back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had to replace my 10 year old refrigerator and it too was a GE, was happy with it so just replaced it with a new one. Perfect choice for me

This model is the updated version of the 1 I had replaced that was 9 years old and was running great. I just couldn't get the water dispenser fixed and my home warranty company replaced it with this new one.
