This scanner has worked out beautifully for me. I use it for uploading old photos, documents and everything in between. The interface is easy to understand and the quality of the results is excellent. I also use this scanner as a replacement for a fax machine. Any time someone needs something with my signature, I simply print the document, sign it, scan it back into my computer and then email them a signed copy. It works every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

V500 Photo Scanner

I purchased this scanner in hopes that it would do the job of scanning my collection of old slides I had accumulated from years past. It did not disappoint me. In fact it done a better job than the one I had and was not from Epson which by the way, would not adapt to Windows 7. So I decided to switch company's altogether seeing how I couldn't find any drivers for the one I had. Like I said, I'm not sorry. Because this one will scan four slides at a time! Needless to say, that I am very pleased with this one.

Love my Epson Perfection

I had an Epson Perfection 3171 Photo that I loved. It made clear copies of pictures from 8x10 to wallet. I had it for several years, but it was not compatable with my new Windows 7 computer. I purchased the perfection V500 Photo knowing it would be as good or better than my 3171. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs clear percise copies.

A Great Digital Converter

I'm impressed with the quality of the digitized images from slides, the ease of set up and use at a great price. I had tried a different brand - a plastic piece of junk. The EPSON V500 is the real deal.

Great slide film scanner

Excellent scanner this will pay for itself in no time. Instead of paying the lab to convert my negatives and slides to jpeg I now can do it my self and save $$$. Very good quality scanner well made and works with out issues.

My main reason for buying this scanner was for some old slides I have. I was surprised how well they came out. I ran a high dpi which took time to run but the results were well worth it. I would recommend this scanner to anyone.
