I have been impressed with the ease of performing scans on prints and transparencies. The quality is superb. The instructional material is well written and very helpful. The unit itself is attractive and well designed.

Big Upgrade

Bought this to scan negatives and slides. I was using another brands MFP that worked OK but not great.
The V500 was much faster and I am very happy with the quality. No complaints.

Great scanner so far! Am impressed about everything- mechanics, aesthetics, price, etc. Hope it continues (considering most things break after a year or so).

Love my scanner

My first scanner was defective. Orange lite would not go off. I called and they told me to return it and they promptly returned a new one to me.
I have scanned many old family pictures and it does a beautiful job! On top of that it is very simple to use! I am very pleased with my scanner!!

My Epson V500 Scanner is one of the best buys of computer equipment ever. Easy to use, produces great results, I use it far more than I ever imagined.

No User-Friendly Documentation

As a decades long Epson customer, I am most disappointed that this product has no user friendly documentation. Not even a .pdf manual that I can print (which I resent having to do). It is only in HTML and has many links that have to be followed to try to get at the information. A new low is user-friendliness. I am most disappointed in Epson and will be much more careful before choosing their product in the future.
