V 500 Scanner

I just received it today. It was easy to install and works both with my Windows XP computer and my Windows 7 64 bit computer. The only problem with installation was that I had to change the UBS port that connected with the scanner from a HUB connector to a port on my computer. Luckily I had a port left. The Tech Support person was great in trouble shooting everything and solving the problem. The images look good and print clearly.

It does everything I need to do. Kodachrome sliudes & 4x5's. Photo copies excelent. Big files and slow!

I have used Epson printers for decades and their products become progressively better as technology advances. Many years ago, I was scanning with their bundled software and I was able to create multiple PDF copies. A feature that I greatly needed at that time.

Excellent product

Have used this scanner to scan about 200 35mm slides into digital images. I was amazed at how easy it was to use and the quality of the images, including the easy click color restoration option. I also scanned some prints with equally outstanding results. Excellent unit for the price.

Faxing a mystery

Faxing feature does not work at all.Called customer service and inquired regarding it,I was told "oh that feature does not work!"Other than that its a ok machine.
