I love the scanner. The only problem I have is that I wished it had components to scan other size negative. I have many more negatives for the 110 size cameras and more of those real small which I dont remember what size are they, and others before in the sixties!!
Would you have the forms for those negatives that I can buy???

Fastest scanner in the market

I've used the scanner and i love it! It doesn't need to initialize unlike other scanners in the market because of the LED technology it uses.
I can enlarge my pictures and get great results from it every time. I love love love my epson scanner and I'm really happy i purchased it!!! =)

Work Horse & More

I was somewhat taken back about the cost of this scanner, being a small company and needing 2 printers, along with the scanner. I was happy I made the choice.
My scanner is used every day 7 days a week, and 5 or more times daily. We process on average 50-100 photos a day. My scanner is the work horse of the office. I have found that it makes great on the fly copies as well.
So happy that I make this selection, you will find it easy to use, very very fast with high resolution scans.

Fast and accurate

I have been creating a family genealogy replete with scanned photos from the V500. The scanning is easily accomplished and the results are terrific. Photo Fix does a great job on some really old photos with limited color remaining. I most appreciate the resolution of the scanner for the some of the more recent photos with great detail.

I use this scanner mainly for scanning artwork. The color and clarity of the images is excellent. I do wish the software was more robust.

Extremely easy to use

This is an incredible scanner. I used it to scan pictures which were used in a publication with incredible results. Though easy to use I had to email Epsom helping me with slide, positive film issues. Not really an issue but Epson responded back with detailed instruction and the rest was a walk in the park. I'll need to look for the manual as I have not located it in the CD included in the package. Maybe an instructional DVD would be in order.

Major Project - Done - Thanks to V500

I used the Epson V500 to scan all of our family slides - over 1,000! It was easy - and now my mom and 5 siblings all have their very own digitalized family memories. What a great Christmas gift it made! It brought tears to their eyes - something they will always cherish. It's so amazing that they can hold that whole family album in the palm of their hand on a thumb drive. The V500 made the process easy. I searched for a long time for just the right scanner to do the job - the V500 fit the bill. I could scan several slides at a time - and fast. A large project, made easy! Thanks, Epson!
