Epson Perfection V500 scanner

This little baby is amazing, just pumped out 60 scans in less than 3 hours and they're outstanding quality.
If you place the photos far enough apart it scans them individually (meaning if 4 are placed on the bed, it will provide 4 different scans, completing them one after another). It's quite fast, except if the print is full size and then it does take a bit more time than I expected, however the results are worth it.
Great feature is that it's extremely light weight, which is a huge benefit if you need to scan onsite.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its simple and easy to use. It takes time, but does a great job. I have 15 trays of slides (140) each. When I'm done they will be on one flash drive.

I bought this scanner after the store I bought it from recommended it for scanning old 35mm slides. I liked it so much I bought one for my son. The ICE technology is great!

Awesome machine! Just got it 2 days ago. Easy set up. Easy, fairly fast scan. Have scanned 325 photos so far. Great results. Love that it separates photos for me. Just have to keep enough distance b/t them on the scanner or it will not separate them when scanning. Love the different settings for scanning. Worth the money. Disappointed that Photoshop Elements 6 is included instead of 8. Out of date software!

epson v500 office scanner

I already own a v500 standard scanner and it is much quicker than the scanner mode of my all in ones. The multiple page feeder speeds thing up even more. having an instruction sheet for the multile page feeder with the scanner package would be a huge improvement, it took me awhile to look at pictures of the scanner in the spec sheets to figure a few things out. Once i got that done it has workrd very well. I'm scanning a lot of magazine articles to convert to digital from paper so it will be getting a huge workout. It would be neat if just the page feeder was available as a seperate item. The software included had been completely satifactory for my purposes. The only question now is how well it will stand up to the heavy use I will give it, only time will tell.

The scanner does everything it is advertised to do. Scan rates are not fast (relatively high resolution) but faster than my previous scanner. As expected, you would not use this to scan in your slide collection.
The scanner initially had problems with error (sounded like a cog belt slipping on a clog pulley). Recieved replacement scanner and everything is fine now.

I ordered this scanner online on a Sunday and received it on a Tuesday so the that was very fast. It was very easy to setup and get started. I was also very happy with the quality of the image produced by the scanner. Some of these slides were very old, but the results were excellent. I have also used it to scan documents and pictures. Again the quality was good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent scanner. Second one I have purchased. Use at the office; needed one for home. Can go from scanning photos to radiographs (x-rays) with no problems or having to change anything!!!
