Not bad at all

I replaced competitive brand (which is mostly what a possess) with this unit. Great detail and simple to use. This is no big commercial "National Geographic" operation that I'm runnig here. The product, very simply, does what it is supposed to do, and for the price catagory I'm very happy. Don't be afraid to "pull the trigger" on on this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this excellent scanner for scanning and digitizing extensive collection of my photo prints as well as old 35 mm photo slides and color negatives, and everytime I got very good results. The machine is very reliable, I have used it for a number of years and it never gave any trouble - I have yet to change the light module in this machine. I would specially recommend it to photo enthusiasts.

Just a short review - everything was in box but with very minimal packing. It was more what I would expect from on in store pickup not the type of packing I expected from fedex on my doorstep in the rainy state of Oregon. Second point the "Free Photo Shop Elements" is about 3 versions behind. They sent version 9 when the present version I think is up to version 12 !
Not a major point but not what most of us would expect when opening the box. LOL

This is my second Epson Perfection Photo Scanner. I've scanned many, many thousand photos without a single problem from the scanner. My only complaint with my first Epson scanner was that the software wouldn't work when I upgraded to a new version of Windows. Had to buy the newest Epson Perfection scanner with a software version that would work with my new Windows.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and does an outstanding job. I have been scanning slides I have had in storage for a long time. The results have been very satisfying. I am now able to post my photos on the Internet. The quality shows in the final product. I would recomend this scanner to a friend.

Neat Scanner

Really a good scanner for the price. Does excellent job with photos and negatives. Interface for the event manager makes you have to remember which entry goes with which button on the scanner. Especially when you use the scan to email button.
