It's all automatice and pastes results in "my Pictures".
Does not allow much changing or cropping, so you will need
to export to Paint to get it the way you want it.

Makes great copies, and is very fast.

All I can really say is WOW. I am in awe of the prints I have made, corrections of old scratched photo's and the slides are beautiful.
You have a winner in this model no doubt.

A great slide scanner

I'm mostly interested in scanning thousands of slides and this scanner is a breeze to use. I plugged it in, and started scanning with minimal learning curve.
The quality of the scanned slides is excellent and the software is making huge improvements in my year old faded slides by restoring color and detail.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I couldn't get the Espon software to work. The scanner would let me scan from another program but with out the software the item was useless and we returned it.

I read and watch the video that Epson put out and decided that this is the scanner I wanted. Well it will work but I am not fully satisfied with the problem I had installing the product. I had to install 3 times before it would work correctly. Maybe it was my fault. It works OK once installed. It is not as fast as I believed it would be, but will do. All in all I will keep the scanner because it does what I purchased it for but will not buy another

Epson Perfection V500 Photo Scanner

I have my Grandmother's 35mm slides and decided to do a project for my aunts and uncles. I purchased this to scan the slides...and numerous photos I have...and have not been disappointed! I have scanned 400+ 35mm slides and it has done an absolutely wonderful job. Sooooo easy to use. The software included is equally easy to use...if someone has some type of software knowledge. THANKS! I have had no complaints!

This scanner is awesome. It was easy to install even with having to download the software for Windows 7. It scans beautifully detailed photos, even those on older paper and old photos. I am very pleased with it. I love the auto scan feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!
