This product is not worth the price.

I purchased this range the day before Easter 2011 so far it has not been very efficient. The temperature in the oven is way off so the food has to cook longer. I purchased a oven thermometer so I could see what the temp really was. If I want to cook something at 350 I have to set the oven at 425
I am very upset over this and I do not have the money to pay a service man to come out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good range; the only thing that I'm not overly happy with is the smooth top after the frist couple of uses it has discolored under the surface; it cooks great and really like the overall features of the range.

I like the sleek look of the flat top, but was unprepared for the difficult cleaning needed. Nothing fancy about it, it's a basic affordable model that gets the job done. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would purchase GE again.

So Slow At Boiling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this range for around 8 months. So far, I'm fairly pleased with it. It does what it's suppose to, and it's not quit on me yet.
The reason for the 3 stars.......It's sooooo unbelievably slow at boiling water. A small amount, it'll boil just fine and quickly. A large amount, like a couple of quarts or more.......forever! And then, it's not a rapid boil. It's more like a medium simmer.
The burner that I use the most, the glass top dulled pretty quickly. I do NOT scoot my pans, trying to avoid scratches, but the dullness is there. I guess caused from the heat.
And then there's the cleaning. Regular cleaning, no big deal. But if you have something to spill or splatter out of a hot pan, onto the side of the burner, it's gonna take something awfully powerful to remove it. Even oven cleaner won't remove all of the splatter drops!
But overall, I'm pleased with it. You get what you pay for and I didn't pay a whole lot for this range. At that price, I'm pleased with it.

Nice Stove for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove heats up very quickly for an electric model. The only reason i didn't give it 5 starts is it is a pain to clean. You have to use special cleaning materials.

Everything I need in a range

Love the smooth top, easy to clean surface, digital clock and timer, and accurate temperature cooking and baking. It fills all our needs and adds a clean, modern look to our recently remodeled kitchen.
