Glad I purchased this as it seems to be cleaning my gums better than traditional floss. I'll know for sure once I go for my next dental checkup. I do like this product but the water reservoir could've been better engineered/designed to hold more water without making the overall size much larger and the "retractable" cord stopped wanting to retract on it's own within 2 weeks of owning this product.
I bought the Water-floss Ultra. I enjoy using the water-flosser because it is user friendly (controls are up front). The cleaning tools are very effective at removing food particles between teeth and along the gum line. Along with the standard Jet tip there are the Pik Pocket tip and Plaque Seeker tip that can get into the hard to clean areas. A low setting on the pump pressure is all that is needed to produce excellent cleaning.
Hubby had his bridge replaced to the tune of $9,000...Ka-ching. The hygenist suggested a water-pik and said it would help him to keep the area clean and the gums healthy. Was she every right!. I too have started using it and cannot get over how much debris the pik cleans out even after I have brushed and flossed. It is a MUST for proper dental hygiene.
