My dentist suggested I get a WaterPik since I don't floss because it causes bleeding. So I bought this one and I am very happy with it. I had some teeth extracted and now have holes in my gums. Well the WaterPik just shoots all the food gunk right out of the holes and between the teeth and at the gum line. Great product!

Bought this to accommodate some upcoming dental work. Previously flossed twice a day with string. The Waterpik Ultra does a terrific job of removing food particles. There is a bit of a learning curve, dealing with the cord, the angle of the head and the water, but I'm catching on. The coiled cord tucks away into its slot very easily. This unit is light and small enough to store away as I don't care for appliances sitting out on my counter top. I'd probably give it a 5 star rating but I'm sort of missing the way string gets under the gum line. I've read several articles that say it works as well as string for tartar/plaque removal, so we'll see next check up.

Using this water flosser is better than regular string floss, I can see how good this thing works just by being able to see all the food particles fall down the sink drain. I told a friend about the water pik and he went and bought one and loves it
