I bought one two years ago and have used it everyday since. I use to have gingivitis, but since using the waterpic The gums have healed up nicely and it is amazing how much food particles your floss and tooth brush does not get.

I have never used a waterpik. My dentist recommended it and I love it. I don't have anything to compare this one too, but as far as I'm concerned it is the best!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I love this product and have been using them for years but the new ones are VERY noisy. I called Waterpik and the service person listened to it and said that is how the new ones are as "they made them lighter in weight which does not conceal the motor as much." Maybe just made cheaper.

They promised a quieter unit but I did not find this to be so. Same noise as my previous Ultra. Also when you turn on the unit there is a slight delay before the water shoots out. I don't know if this is a defect or if this is how the machine is meant to work. My previous unit did not do this.

After my most recent dentist appointment, it was clear I wasn't getting clean above the gum line. I had used a Waterpik when I had braces as a kid so it was time to go back. It is amazing how clean your mouth feels after, I'm so glad I went back to using a Waterpik
