My dentist told me I had to start addressing my Gingivitis problem and fast. Flossing and brushing even with a Sonic toothbrush were not enough. This gives me the edge that I needed for getting into those problem pocket areas.

I have been using this for about a month and look forward to it every time, as opposed to dreading flossing. Not only is it easier but I'm amazed at how much more effective it is. I tried flossing, then using the Waterpik and was astonished at how much stuff was still remaining in my teeth! The Waterpik gets everything out leaving your teeth totally free of debris!

I bought this product about a month ago. As with anything I need to use it more. Works great although if you use it on the most powerful setting the water tends to drip down my arm and makes a mess but on a lower setting doesn't seem to this as much. The only drawback is the cord. If it could either be cordless or have a little bit longer cord it would be more user friendly. Hopefully this product helps to keep us cavity free!

I have not been back to the dentist yet so I don't know if it really replaces dental floss. The unit takes up a lot of space on the counter top. The hose is difficult to rinse off and dry. The lid on top is a challenge to open so I dumped everything out of it into a drawer and don't use it for storing the tips. Otherwise it seems okay.
