I have been using Waterpic water flossers for years. I have periodontal gum disease and I use it every day to keep my teeth as clean as possible. My dentist tells me I am doing a great job keeping my teeth healthy.
I bought this about 3-4 weeks ago on the advice of my dental hygienist. She said that I should start with the settings around 2 and build up to the maximum of 10 over time. I have found that after you go beyond a setting of 5 the unit starts to vibrate much more forcefully. The cord is not long enough for my situation so the unit has to sit near the edge of the sink on the vanity. If you turn it to the maximum it vibrates so much as the water in the reservoir empties that the entire unit will migrate because the unit becomes lighter as the water empties. At one point it fell into the sink and spilled water everywhere. This all could be avoided by having a longer cord come with the unit. Otherwise it works as promised.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Been in use for several weeks - I canNot believe the sound - loud and annoying - like starting a lawn mower or snow blower. Can they do something about that? Wakes up my wife even with the bathroom door closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
