The first waterpik I had for about five years ceased to operate and, in spite of helpful info to get it working, knew it needed replacing. Had the extra rechargeable one for traveling which, when away from home, could not use as I had forgotten to bring the attachment which apparently is not available in stores. Finally I was able to get my replacement. I had very much missed the waterpik as it is essential for my dental hygiene.
As an old surfer, when you don't get out on a good swell because your too busy, it just feels like you didn't bathe for the day. Waterpik feels the same to me, it's a shower for my mouth, it helps me keep my "sayings" clean and fresh every day!
I bought this a month ago and I use it everyday. Knowing how good it is for teeth and gums, it was a great purchase. My grandson has his own because he has braces. My sister-in-law has one so that is how I came to buy this particular model.
I purchased the water pick 2 months ago. I had never used one & my dental hygiene's suggested that I start using one I like it works great due to some issues I was starting to have.
I bought the WP100 to use in addition to daily flossing. It seems to work but takes some practice to not make a mess of yourself and bathroom. I am 6'3" so I find I have to stoop uncomfortably close to sink so I dont pull the unit off the sink. Seems like the only pressure setting that is effective is the highest. If you can't floss then I guess this unit is better than nothing, but like flossing, it takes practice. The pump is loud so make sure no one is sleeping nearby when you are using it.
