I've been using the waterpik for about 2 weeks and it seems to do what it is designed to do. But the real proof of its cleaning will be in 6 months when I get a dental checkup.
My dentist recommended I get a water flosser because I have been resistant to flossing my teeth due to having gingivitis and having major sensitivity in my mouth. The water flosser does an excellent job of being able to get everything out from between teeth and from around the teeth. It has helped my mouth feel cleaner with less plaque and I wish I would have bought this a long time ago.
Even after flossing and using an electric toothbrush i still felt like i had film on my teeth. not any more. i feel like my teeth and gums are super clean
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Large Unit: Liked the large reservoir and the variety of spray tips. Force of spray is good. Unit is too loud. On/off switch hard to operate one-handed. Pause button very loud. Still get my face and sink area sprayed. Don't like this one, yet. Small Unit: Better than earlier rechargeable model. Better reservoir. Good to have a choice of spray intensity. Tends to be a little noisy, but much better than the large unit. Like the spray tips on this one, too. Good for traveling. Like this one.
