I had this unit under a year and the button on the handset broke. Too bad it didn't last because I did like it while it did.

We sincerely apologize for the issue that you are experiencing with the pause button. It carries a three-year warranty. We would be happy to look into this for you and open a warranty claim. Please email me directly at smreviews@waterpik.com. Or, call customer service at 1-800-525-2774 Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm Mountain Time for assistance.
I believe it does what it's supposed to do, but it has really cheap lightweight construction. I've had WaterPiks for years. Pretty disappointed that you have to use two hands to do anything with this equipment because it's so lightweight... i.e. • Put water in it • Remove the wand • Turn it on/off • Turn the bottom switch
Definitely removes food bits stuck between the teeth and may disrupt bacteria at microscopic level even though it doesn’t wash away actual plaque itself. I use this waterpik in addition to floss and interdental brushes. My dentist said I’m doing the right thing. Not overly loud but can be heard in the next room; reservoir could be taller so it holds more water but fits nice on my crowded sink. Seems well made of decent plastic and parts fit together well. Try to find the version with on/off button on the wand not merely a pause button as water splashes a bit more. Not a dealbreaker as I would buy this again if I had to. You won’t regret having one either
This new unit has replaced one that has served me well for 10 years. This one is half the weight of the old one, and twice as noisy! According to my gums, it delivers the same pressure at the same dial number, which is the important factor in flossing my teeth. Hopefully this one will be as reliable as its predecessor, and I'll be reviewing in another 10 years.
We love the waterpik WP-100,but the wand button broke after only 10 days. We did register it and called the number that came with it. We tried their suggestion to get it to work again, to no avail. They sent us another one! Thank you for standing behind your product.

I wish I could give this thing a negative 10. I was looking forward to using my second one. I had my last waterpik for over 2 years but unfortunately my puppy chewed the wire. I rushed and got myself a new one because I loved it but I decided to get the Ultra thinking that it would be better. I wad so wrong... this thing doesn't even work! I'm so upset, I read all kinds of positive reviews but ignored the bad ones. DO BETTER!!!!
