Bought this recently at the direction of my dentist, who suggested this brand and model versus the rechargeable one.. Like that I can adjust the flow, as you go so you don't have to turn off. Tubing a bit stiff right now so have to bring device close to sink -
This works very well, and I would purchase it again. My only complaint is that if water is left in the reservoir, it leaks out, leaving the counter, and electrical cord soaked.
The hose is too short. Other than that it is a decent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

water tube broke

I bought this water pic and and I guess the tube connecting the handle to the unit broke at the handle. It was okay one day and the next the tube snapped into during the night. It was sitting next to a window so I don't know if the ultraviolet light caused the plastic tube to break or not. Other than that it worked great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was my second purchase of this type. My first was terrible. I decided to spend a little bit more money and buy the WaterPik because of its reputation. The reviews were actually correct. I love that it has a handheld shut off I like the removable container which I can actually clean. The attachments are great. And it is made well. Very happy with my purchase worth spending more money and not buying something cheaper.
Overall I am HAPPY with my water flosser...HOWEVER, it is extremely noisy. It rumbles like a Jack hammer, consequently disturbing anyone who is STILL asleep. I'm wondering is that normal or is something wrong with my device. It is not quite a month old.
