I purchased this product as a replacement for an older model that became unusable due to a cracked hose. This model appears to work as well as the older one. It is somewhat noisier than the old model.

I've been using my Waterpik Ultra everyday since receiving it. I truly think it's necessary and think dental hygienists should be recommending this to everyone. Once a day is all it takes. Feels great and the results are observed each time I use it. Can't say enough good things about this item.
