After a visit to the dentist and hygienist, I was told I neded to really pressure wash near the gum line to avoid having to go to a periodontist to keep my gums in good health. Gums feel wonderful after using the waterpik after each meal. So far, so good. Time will tell when I have my follow-up app't after 4 months of use.

I bought a new Water-Pike recently and it's performance is not as good as the old one I bought 3 years ago. It can't take away some of the food particles stuck in between my teeth. Don't know what's going on with the new one. I sometimes have to do it twice and still not taking the food particles out. My old one did a lot better than that. I'm waiting for the parts to come so that I can repair the old one and use that one instead of newly bought one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using a portable water flossing for over a year, I finally changed to the plug in one because it doesn't lose power over time. Since I have been using this item my dental exams are better. No more deep cleaning that hurts and I'm not having to use floss which shreds and doesn't get deep in between the teeth.

Love my Waterpik, just got a new one to replace one that I had owned for over 12 years. It is a great device that everyone should use especially people with crowns and bridges because even after brushing and flossing, the Water Pik still flushes out food particles and debris that is missed. Thank you for an exceptional product!
