The cord to the waterpik handle broke after awhile. This is a 2nd purchase of a waterpik. I did not use the pik for awhile though. The cord plastic or whatever it is made of is very flimsy. The cord also broke on an earlier purchase after awhile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We sincerely apologize that the hose has broken on the unit. It is a replaceable part and the unit does come with a three year warranty. If over the three years, it is available for purchase. Please contact customer service for assistance at 1-800-525-2774 Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm Mountain Time.
After my last visit to the dentist, I learned my gums weren't as good as they should be. I asked about a waterpic, and he thought it would be a good idea, since I was flossing regularly.
I purchased the wp-100 for my 15 year old daughter who has braces and I cant believe the huge differance it has made for her. Even with periodic dental check ups she still experienced cavities between the teeth. This product should be a part of everyones daily regement, and should be recommended by dentist!! 5 STARS *****
